Mouldy old pigeon

While life continues to be hectic I remain in a state of non-posting.

But today has been trying in so many ways that I need to record the most irritating aspect of it for posterity.

We have a mouldy pigeon.

It has been around for about 6 weeks although it is gradually diminishing in line with the biochemical imperative of decomposition.

Today I was advised to put a piece of cardboard up at the window to hide it from sight. Apparently this is the considered response to repeated requests to have it removed from its ledge by a suitably qualified professional on a ladder. We obviously cannot be trusted with a task of such mind-boggling complexity.

No. Further. Comment.
